Hope to have him again.

21:03
Holly, you and your team are doing such a great job with engagement

23:51
Attended ASAE MMC CAE sessions - kept thinking about how ahead are NYSAE members

24:21
I attended the MMCC event as well. It was great.

24:25
Hello from the Guides Association of NYC

25:16
Good Morning from the NYS Society of Medical Massage Therapists, Inc.

27:04
MMC had 3000 online attendees. Dramatically more than if on-site. Of course there was no fee. But ASAE should have made a lot of new friends

27:22
@Judy and they got those attendees with one email.

28:25
@Patricia. Yes! Happy I received another email from an NYSAE colleague.

28:59
I've re-written dozens of letters; e newsletters with a new formula - the Rule of Z - if you want to hear about it Paul let me know. It's helped raise ALOT of money!

29:12
It was very impressive that they got such a response from just the one email. It shows the demand/interest in that information and how well virtual meetings can do.

30:37
Zoom meetings and webinars are bringing in more attendees. as many as 50%-100% more people attend

34:56
Great way to convey value, boost associations, and introduce newbies to NYSAE.

35:47
@Patricia. ASAE MMC also was a 3-CAE credit event. That should also have been part of the appeal.

35:58
It was part of it for me. :)

37:56
If anyone wants to comment on what Meagan is reporting on -- please unmute and be ready to go

39:04
Thanks for sharing Meagan!

40:52
I am curious if associations are doing more to reach out to the media - either trade or mass media - more or differently than pre COVID, and if you have had any success

41:16
@Meagan. Thank you for sharing that. A local volunteer EMT shared that memo; I was shocked - because I didn’t know the policy wasn’t new.

42:16
GANYC is very active for our members on Facebook

51:12
There's a great COVID page from a speech pathologists group that shows how much better it is to have info and links specific to their particular group

51:28
telemedicine, state by state regulations, etc. lmk if you want the link

52:20
ISTSS' resource page is very helpful: https://istss.org/public-resources/covid-19-resources

54:08
Savvy Ladies does weekly free webinars on topics for their members - finance, careers, dealing with COVID19

01:03:16
Time to experiment with providing your members with career information. I can provide webinars and coaching for career development, networking particularly in this challenging time. Geffen Careers geffena108@gmail.com

01:03:55
agree that career is top of mind for many right now

01:04:20
Even medical fields are facing furloughs and salary reductions right now.

01:04:22
People think this is ot a good time to look for a job - but now is the tie to sow seeds for the future by building out your networks.

01:04:41
maybe also a good time to advocate for networking among members -- and with partner memberships!

01:04:49
EANYC does a great job with this

01:05:51
Cuomo just closed schools for the remainder of the academic year

01:06:01
distance learning only

01:06:13
About time...wemust keep our teachers and our students safe and healthy.

01:07:43
@Paul. Was fascinated at MMC at how much networking was going on in chat during sessions. They certainly weren’t concentrating on the content.

01:08:21
People want to connect and learn from each other, build relatinoships. It is hard to sit tight and quiet listeening to a speaker without the interaction.

01:08:36
the conversation among attendees is super valuable

01:09:31
I was listening while typing. lol.

01:09:33
@Judy, I gained as many insights from the chat as I did from the official sessions.

01:09:35
We have had to disable the “chat” function for our Board meetings because Board members started arguing in “chats” and stopped paying attention to the Board meeting itself!

01:09:52
Ria - THAT'S HYSTERICAL!!

01:09:54
Makes sense for a Board Meeting.

01:11:23
parallel not necessarily competing

01:11:40
This information is invaluable- as a CVB (CT Convention & Sports Bureau) Many do not realize we are on both sides- we have Members and Planner clients! We are looking for ways to engage both and connect them as well. We also have dues invoices scheduled for July but... unsure what to do? Our members are hotels, venues & restaurants!

01:12:13
Sue, don't hold back membership dues!

01:12:30
Think about how you have provided value over this crisis..how you supported your members.

01:12:38
PCMA delayed the payment of dues by three months for independent planners

01:13:08
@Sue - we've had clients make some serious changes to their dues and membership structures right now

01:13:09
MPI is delaying payments as well

01:13:09
Great point Sue! Communication to customers, members, partners, sponsors is so important and we have to change our voice based on the audience.

01:13:29
free membership for 2021... buy one, get 2, etc

01:14:07
I think that we need to look at our benefits carefully. Members tend to look at the benefits they're not getting.... what can you ADD, focused on the impact of COVID.

01:15:11
You can add free webinars or zoom meetings, weekly chats, info on careers, coaching individually or in groups.

01:15:15
Really good point. Create new services and tools that will help members TODAY and tomorrow

01:15:32
Great points Patricia!

01:15:50
Thank you everyone!!!!

01:16:12
@Diane, Thanks!

01:16:28
Thanks Holly, Paul and everyone.

01:16:52
The golden word will be - COLLABORATION who and how did you collaborate

01:17:36
Thanks everyone! Great information as usual. Have a great weekend.

01:17:58
Remember to save the chat to retain emails and links that were shared!

01:18:13
Incredible learnings and inspirations from all -- Feel the zoom vibes!

01:18:14
